UPV is Spain’s #1 first Polytechnic University, a public institution that is dynamic and innovative, dedicated to research and teaching.

Our intensive Spanish courses are held at UPV facilities and taught by UPV professors.

With strong ties to its social environment and a prominent international presence, UPV recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.

UPV has approximately 34,000 students, 3,600 professors and researchers, and 1,500 administrative and service professionals across its campuses in Alcoy, Gandia, and Valencia. It comprises 13 university centers, including technical schools, faculties, polytechnic schools, a Doctoral School, and three affiliated centers (Florida Universitaria, Berklee College of Music, and EDEM Business School).

Since its inception, UPV has maintained a longstanding tradition of collaborating with local and multinational enterprises across various research fields, positioning itself as one of Europe’s most reputable research universities and a leader in patent registrations in Spain. This close partnership with the private sector has contributed to UPV being recognized for its high employability rates in Europe.

Each UPV campus offers a unique and enriching environment:

  • Vera Campus (Valencia): The main campus offering a wide range of programs in engineering, architecture, sciences, and technology. Located in Valencia, a cosmopolitan city with a pleasant Mediterranean climate and numerous cultural and recreational activities.
  • Gandia Campus (EPSG): Specializes in information technology, communication, and audiovisual media. Situated on the Mediterranean coast, it provides an ideal setting for study and research, with access to beaches and an active student community.
  • Alcoy Campus: Renowned for its focus on industrial engineering, textiles, design, and innovation. Located in a historic and mountainous setting that encourages practical learning and creativity.

Depending on the Spanish course chosen, students may study at either campus. After completing the Spanish Foundation Program, students can continue their bachelor’s degree at another campus based on their chosen field of study.

Each bachelor`s program has specific admission requirements and minimum Spanish language proficiency levels. Students will be admitted to their chosen programs once these requirements are met.
