Our extensive course is designed for students who want to learn Spanish gradually, allowing them to combine language study with other academic or professional activities. It includes 2 lessons of 45 minutes per week and offers continuous, balanced progress over the medium and long term.

Course description

  • The extensive course is designed for those seeking to build a solid foundation in the language steadily and progressively.
  • Throughout the course, all language skills are developed through a practical approach focused on real communication.

Participants / Teaching hours, timetable and duration

Classes can be taken privately or in a group.

Private classes last 45 minutes and take place 2 days per week.

Group classes last 90 minutes and take place 2 days per week.

The available times are:

  • 13:00 to 14:30
  • 15:00 to 16:30
  • 17:00 to 18:30

Classes can take place on:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays
  • or Tuesdays and Thursdays

Groups of 2 to 6 students. Private classes are also available.

Each sublevel course from A1 to B2 has a curricular duration of 30 hours. Enrolling by the month does not in itself mean passing the course or the entire level.

What is included

  • Initial placement test and guidance on joining the course.
  • In-house materials and access to digital resources.
  • Academic monitoring, progress assessment and tutorials.
  • Certificate for the course taken, subject to attendance and achievement requirements.

Reference textbooks are purchased separately when required.

Format

  • In person: classes at our premises, in classrooms equipped with televisions and functional furniture.
  • Live online: sessions via Google Meet, with constant interaction between teachers and students.
  • Resources: dynamic digital content and interactive activities to support learning.

Levels and courses

The level is the target language proficiency. The sublevel courses are the learning units that make it up.

Each sublevel course from A1 to B2 lasts 30 hours. To complete a level, you must pass all the courses that make it up.

Before starting, you take a placement test to join the most suitable course and group. You can take it online or book an in-person assessment.

Methodology

The extensive course methodology is based on a communicative approach, combining structured grammar explanations with guided speaking practice and communicative activities that encourage active participation.

Teaching materials

  • Included: in-house materials developed by the teaching team and supplementary digital resources.
  • Not included: reference textbooks, which students must purchase. These are available to buy at the school.

Monitoring and tutorials

  • Continuous monitoring of progress by the teaching staff.
  • Regular assessment: classroom observation and comprehension, expression, interaction and mediation tasks.
  • Tutorials and personalised guidance to answer questions and support learning progress.
  • Passing the course: required attendance, completion of activities and tests, achievement of objectives and an overall pass assessment.

Certificate

  • Details: course taken, teaching hours, dates and result or level of achievement.
  • Minimum attendance: 80 % of classes, alongside compliance with the centre's rules and the course's academic requirements.

Completing a sublevel does not mean completing the entire level. The certificate will only state that the level has been completed once all its constituent courses have been passed. Partial attendance does not constitute passing the full course.

Course certificates are issued by Hablo itself. The progress tests and assessments required to obtain them are internal and created by the teaching team; they are not official DELE or SIELE certification exams.

Group classes (2-6 students)

Additional information

  • The course must be paid for in full before the start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the administration in advance.

    The booking deposit is 50 €, which will be deducted from the total course price.

    Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date receive a full refund; for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start, the full amount is refunded minus the 50 € deposit; once the course has started, no refund is available.
